Refund Policy
Short version: refunds are handled case-by-case via email. We read every message and try to make it right when GodotIQ genuinely didn't work for you.
1. Our policy
Refunds are case-by-case. Email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with your order details and the reason. We respond within 1–2 business days.
2. What we typically refund
- Purchases within 14 days where the tools genuinely don't work for your supported setup (Python / Godot / OS versions we advertise).
- Accidental duplicate purchases.
- Clear cases of "didn't get what I expected" when reported promptly and in good faith.
3. What we typically don't refund
- Purchases more than 14 days old where the tools worked as advertised.
- Cases where the refund request is tied to Godot-engine behavior unrelated to GodotIQ.
4. EU customers — 14-day right of withdrawal
EU customers: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83 unless you explicitly waive it at checkout (Polar presents this checkbox). Our case-by-case policy is in addition to — not a replacement for — this statutory right. If you are in the EU and want to exercise your withdrawal right, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] and include:
- The email address you used to purchase.
- Your Polar order ID (visible in the confirmation email from Polar).
- The reason — a sentence or two is enough.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are processed through Polar back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
